On average Americans spend only 10% of our days outside. Breathing indoor air can be helpful or hazardous depending what is in it. Our expertise is indoor air quality (IAQ) and we Create Healthy Spaces.  Indoor air quality directly relates to how we feel (building comfort) and how well we think (cognitive performance), and the health and safety of the building occupants. Knowing what we are breathing and having the knowledge of how to identify types of indoor hazards allows us to make positive improvements to our health and our future. At QUALITY INDOOR AIR we share this expertise with our clients during our business training services and homeowner education.

Partnering with us is the logical solution to save money and protect yourself , your family, and all building occupants by allowing us to Create  Healthy Spaces .  Healthy indoor environments create happier workers and a caring atmosphere. QUALITY INDOOR AIR (QIA) creates the opportunity to maximize your most valuable  asset and your largest expense- your employees. We can measure what you cannot see, radon gas and other hazardous indoor pollutants.

Many people are now working from home and children are being home schooled.  Knowing the dangers of global epidemics, such as COVID-19, and other airborne transmitted illnesses and having the choice to reduce the risks and dangers to your workers, congregations, tenants, and family is the practical choice. The ethical choice is to create the safest and healthiest spaces possible to work, play, and rest.  Managing indoor air quality pays off in numerous ways.

We spend approximately 33% of our life in our bedrooms and need to consider the dangers of radon.

Radon, a radioactive gas, a Class 1 carcinogen is the leading indoor environmental hazard and is the #1 cause of lung cancer in nonsmokers. According to CanSAR, CR3, and the EPA, radon causes of 21,000 lung cancer deaths in America each year. Idaho H & W Environmental Department claims a much higher rate of radon in Idaho homes than the national average of 1 in 15. Two out of five homes exceed the EPA’s radon action level of 4 pCi/L.  Having 4 pCi/L in your home is comparable to smoking 8 cigarettes a day (CR3website). Wouldn’t you like to know if radon is hurting you, your workers, your family, and your pets?

Children and pets take more breaths than adults. Children’s lungs are more vulnerable due to the developing stages.  Pets and children play on the floor and radon gas comes up from the soil below a building’s foundation.

Radon can be in any building type or home. We protect your QUALITY OF LIFE by removing, reducing, and managing indoor air hazards. QUALITY INDOOR AIR provides each client with both strategic and sustainable solutions to solve indoor air problems using risk management, industrial hygiene, and building science. Our dedicated certified indoor environmental consultants and friendly technicians assess, test, and educate.
